Arjun Singh, Congress along with the then board of directors and the lawyer's of ruling party are part & parcels of the deaths & disability of more than 50,000 of people.
The govt, as the junior partner in the disastrous joint-venture, has gone into overdrive to keep from getting any blame. That's why they have ensured that no such comprehensive studies were ever conducted...can't allow that!!!! Even to this day, tens of thousands still suffer horribly from that terrible "accident", yet govt has shown nothing but perverse indifference and criminal callousness to the cries of the victims of this horror.
The scienceof environmental toxicology and epidemiology has no doubt lost valuable information due to perhaps lack of expertise committment and interference, India still seem to lack doctors interested in epidemiology

It is not lac expertise. it is due to survivors moving to other areas. And the long term toxic effect can not be studied. One can not just tie some one down all because they are needed to be part of the study. Thus being lost from the circle of study. India has expertise which is second to none.
