is India kaput?
by Siv on Aug 29, 2013 02:56 AM

Does it really matter who they vote for. They have NO foreign policy. India's economy is in trouble. A rich (very patriotic) acquaintance of mine called me and told me that she is pulling all her money out of India. It was a shock to say the least. On further inquiry she explained that all the money she invested here was earned outside India and it was brought here for she wanted to do something for India but she lost big and she realized that it is such money that is being siphoned out and deposited in individual Swiss and Singapore accounts. Otherwise India has and always had trade deficit. Its infrastructure is very poor. The government is not only corrupt but also extremely inefficient. So, the foreign exchange wasn't really earned either by the government of the business. Let me put this event in a simple form. If a million people like her pull their money out, India is kaput. India does not have enough money to cover them all. PERIOD.

Few years ago, Mr. Obama gave a Speech..
by Kanu Singh on Aug 29, 2013 01:58 AM

Something like, ‘We are the People, We were waiting for!’ Well, if he had read few more words from the inspirational text and understood its implication, this situation might have been avoided.

Few more text is something like, ‘ The awaited One comes quietly and unexpectedly, like a thief in Night’. Because if you give people definite recipe to invoke your response, they will keep on cooking it every other day and rather then you in control of Game, others will make you dance like a puppet in their Game.

A limited attack on Syria might send message to people not to use Chemical weapons, but it might also give wrong hint to other people and put thousands of other children at risk around the world in conflict zones. People might frame their rivals in Chemical attacks and kill children, hoping that America will bomb their rivals.

Whatever decision they make its up to them, but I hope Mr. Obama don’t get influenced by personal red lines or blue lines, he might take inspiration from his speeches when he jokes on himself and other laughs and claps.

If you make a wise call today few people might laugh and joke about you, but few decades later in the hindsight same people might praise you for being rational and wise leader, who lead his country citizens to safety in hard testing times!

For once make a clear statement...
by Chicago Male on Aug 29, 2013 12:09 AM  | Hide replies

I am sick and tired of Indian leaders in MMS administration not being able to make a clear statement. When I read above article it's ambivalent.
Not supporting Unilateral strikes by US/UK is clearly in India's interest and they should clearly say that. Also on UN vote for strike against Syria we should clearly vote against it for the reasons mentioned in this article.

Gawd MMS and people around him are such nincompoops.

Perfect. You hit the nail of the head. I request you and all Indians staying abroad to come and vote in India when the elections are declared.

India imports Oil (not exports Oil) from Syria.
seems like a typo-graphical error...

Mis-print.... import not export...

It must be that India imports Oil from Syria...and not the other way around...i.e. exports... seems like a typo-graphical error.
What are these radical elements uprising for... what's the reasons... Are they justified...??
