China sure has some other plans!!!
by deepak on Apr 25, 2013 11:31 AM

China follows the ancient Chinese philosophy which says "Teach them a lesson"....China has never withdrawn their claim of Arunachal Pradesh!! In fact apart of governing their country they have been involved in opening many other fronts in other countries to ensure they are having strategic advantage of boosting their reach and capturing dominance in other countries...
They do not act as a responsible power, in spite of being one of the very important economy of world and protecting minor countries...also it sees India as a threat for their economy!!
Whereas India has done very little and has only done retaliatory action when ever faced with situation like these!! We have not bothered to develop our boundaries in a manner that they are ready to take on any enemy!!
Saying we will be wrong!!! It is the political scenario in the country that everything is embroiled in a political mess be it defence, development, purchases of important machinery...putting the country back by almost a decade behind in development...the cost of which is very deadly for the country!!
The occupation of Leh may be a attention diversion tactic!!!! There must be other bigger plan maybe even to strike and capture Arunachal Pradesh!!!
In this hour my only request to the political fraternity is to be united and take decisions that will protect our Country!!!

The other day was hearing discussion on this issue in a TV channel. The expert person commented that whenever India wanted to create infrastructure in the form of road etc. in east Chinese use to lodge protest to India and he mentioned orders goes to army not to go ahead. If this kind of attitude is there why they will care? As for as north korea is concerned world believe that fellow has gone made when he says that will fire US Hawai island etc. But I think time has come when we should also become mad and show that we do not care for any thing, if some one how big that may be try to intrude to show strength. We only need to show courage. Remember what our PM did in 1971?

Border Suviellance
by banshi srivastava on Apr 25, 2013 11:08 AM

Sir,
Changes in commanding position is all ok. But then question arises why Chinese intrusion could not be detection within time and take suitable action (not necessarily show down but at least showing some resistance). They came and set up the camp only then we could detect the same lately?
This means 2 things either we felt weak to take time action or the people responsible for such surveillance knowing neglected or blatantly failed?
Same of situation has occured in Kargil where things were detercted late and resulted in human and material losses of army in getting the same vacated.
I think time has come when we need to fix accountability and should become more assertive on border. The order day I was seeing a TV show in which it was very clearly shown how smaller country like vietnam , South Kore and Japan openly oppose Chinese expansionary policy and hegemony. If Chinese like Pakistan are denying that they did not intruse do we not have imagery of places where they intruded. We can produce those records pre and post intrusion.
Why even being a nuclear power we develop cold feet in taking timely action. As China has grown its strength many times than us there is no other way out except joining US under protective umbrella. it would also be in consistent with the US Policy which also wants that India should play key role in South East Asia. Now our Foreign Minister is going to China to discuss and negotiate the issue. The issue need to raised in security council

Give a befitting response to dragon

China understand the language of force only. Let the army give them a befitting reply whatever may come. The reported visit of MEA to china should be cancelled as the proposed visit project India as a weak state begging for peace with adversary. This act will only embolden China further to undertake such incursion more frequently. Even small states like Vietnam acts more smartly than India in such situations. India is always begging peace with neighbours rather than asserting itself on even right issues .

The Army Command
by subhash phadkar on Apr 25, 2013 11:06 AM

The Army Commanders at western and Eastern commands are very important commanders and one of them would succeed as the Army chief. The Northern command has been neglected for quite some time after the chinese lack of interest in NEFA and Ladakh=the latter has become a tourist attraction these days.Regular patrolling must have not been taken seriously or the commander is weak.It is a good decision to shift the incumbent Army commander. The two year tenures are applicable when every thing is normal and the enemy has not crossed the border.

It clearly reflect in our thoughts & deeds that, we can fight out Pakistan but we are incapable to handle Chinese.
FIRST SOLUTION: STOP BUYING /SELLING/USING CHINESE GOODS
SECOND SOLUTION: RAKE UP ISSUE ON INTERNATIONAL FORUM WITH AMERICA / RUSSIA / EU & UN.

our own industrialists are understood to be investing money in manufacturing goods in china rather than investing in our own country which is facing recession

Your fist idea is excellent. In fact I have always avoided chinese goods and buy the goods preferably made in India, even if they may be little expensive.
As far as your taking matter in International Forum is concerned, it will be the same mistake that Nehru did of taking up the matter of Kashmir in UN. These international communities shall never help our country. So we must find solutions to our own problems by being aggressive and forget Gandhi.
