CHINESE INCURSION
by bkdasgupta on Apr 24, 2013 12:13 PM

EVERY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD KNOW THA WE ARE THE SOFTEST TARGET .ANY COUNTRY CAN DO ANYTHING TO US, WE SHALL NOT REACT AND OUR POLITICIANS WILL SAY ' ALL OPTIONS ARE OPEN,'BECAUSE WE ARE THE WEAKEST COUNTRY IN THE WHOLE WORLD AND THEY WILL NEVER ADOPT ANY STRONG ACTION EITHER MILITARILY OR POLITICALLY.

Superpower is term not applicable to India. I have travelled the world and see no chance of being a superpower. Supower's work hard at different levels with patience and reasoning those two words are absent in India dictionary. India is all about exploitation and amassing wealth. Its ideologies are just a bit better than zimbabwe.

India a "SUPER POWER" What nonsense? Have you ever seen a Indian slum area, have you seen a Indian Govt Hospital, have you seen a Indian beggar lady with a child in her arms at a traffic signal. We should be little more humble

Ravinder did you actually think we will become superpower one day? We have lost our chances. We opened up the economy (partially) in 1991 and after 23 years we are still confused which model we need to adopt fully (left to centre, centre, right to cdentre , inclusive growth etc).

I am nither a BJP member nor a supporter of them but my opinion is that they laid a solid foundation for indian economy. The UPA 1 reaped the benefit of their hard work for initial 3-4 years. But UPA's rule in last 9 years has ensured that India will never be able to match China in times to come.

To become a superpower India needed to have 10 GDP growth for 30 years but in last fiscal year we had less than 5%. Now even 6% looks a very ambitious target. If we do not have funds then how we can modernize the armed forces and develop the Military infrastructure. And without that we can not match China.

Please read my words with the correct thinking. Every nation has its share of problem but what we lack here is the holistic approach. Correct’s living in water deprived posh colony, multitude gang rapes, abysmally poor infrastructure etc are all related with India’s inability to draw up a firm foreign policy and thereby we being labeled as a soft nation . And that India can’t become a superpower is quite realistically felt by me but that I accept in utter agony and grief!

by Raghavendra Ravi on Apr 24, 2013 12:06 PM

Chinese are sensing an opportunity since we are in disarray and heavily corrupt - so they think that they can get inside very easily.. I hope no rascal sells a part of India to China for money and CAG will unearth it after 25 years!

A trial balloon
by Vijay Sahani on Apr 24, 2013 12:02 PM

If you are want to find out the enemy's latest strategy, both military and diplomatic, what is the best way to do it? I think a small skirmish will give you some idea.

I think Chinese incursion in Kashmir is a trial balloon let off by China to evaluate the response of India, both militarily and diplomatically. How India responds will give a lot of information to China on the line of thinking in India vis-a-vis China. I think this incident is nothing more than a trial balloon released by China to find out how India reacts.

Idiots form the government
by Ritesh Jindal on Apr 24, 2013 11:59 AM

In due course of time, India will vanish from world map. It would've been occupied by Pak, China, Bangladesh and other nations. Indian government is a bunch of idiots who've no interest in life other than money making. China has made 600 incursions in 2 years and these bastards are resolving through talks.. how funny. I wonder what is military required for if talks is what they use always. I wonder how would these politicians feel if someone grabbed part of their house?
