This is the power of feudal-capitalist society wrapped with a misnomer called democracy.Since its birth this system has never tried to address the social, economic and political inadequacies of this country.In fact the ruling class comprised of the nexus of politicians,corporate and business along with the bureaucracy has benefited from the differences caued by the said reasons and actually tried to benefit out of it. We are top in the world on all the negative parameters of HDI. Doesn't that ashame us of calling ourselves a democracy.
