Why would People of Hubli-Dharwad defeat a CM candidate. Any Constituency would want CM from their constituency, why Hubli-Dharwad be different. Shettar is good Person. Even Non-BJP people will vote for him. Only Mad Yeddyurappa would want to defeat Shettar.
Last Election JDS-BJP did a lot of comedy doing rotational CM's and betrayal. But still BJP was given a chance. People did not go back to congress. But BJP has squandered the Chance given to it.
What will happen now. Definitely cong is not looked as choice. But they will get more seats because opposition is not united. TINA(There is no alternative) factor does not apply here.

On Hindsight Modi can campaign here. But where will Rahul campaign. what is safe constituency?

RAHUL, SONIA, PRIYANKA, VADRA, CHILDREN - WHOLE FAMILY CAMPAIGNED I THEIR OWN STATE U.P. FOR 6 MONTHS - AND GOT 28 OUT OF 400 SEATS IN ASSEMBLY POLLS!! CONGRESS LOST THE SEATS UNDER AMETHI AND RAEBARELI ALSO !!!

Dear Ravi I am not obsessed with Modi. But I do pity the people who support him for no reason. What are Modis achievements other than that he was able to divide the people, create riots and murder innocent people.

You are obsessed with modi, you bring him here. This article is no way connected to him. Modi will have little effect in Karnataka. Ofcourse internet crowd will be rooting for Modi. But that happens everywhere. What karnataka people want will not be influenced by Modi, but what BJP, JDS, Cong and new born parties have done and will do.
Can Modi ensure corruption free govt in kar, no. Rahul Gandhi coming from Autocratic party can't ensure a corruption free govt. How can Modi do, where he has little or no influence.
Main worry is Karnataka will elect a Cong govt and BJP govt will come in centre next election. And we have opposition govt's in Karnataka for so many decades will continue. Karnataka will not get due attn and resources in development or image.

WHY 1947 IS A DEAD LINE? ACCORDING TO ME WE DIDNOT GET FREEDOM ON 15TH AUG, 1947. WE ARE SLAVES FOR THE LAST 500 YEARS AND STILL IT CONTINUING. HYDERABAD NIZAM STATE/NAGALAND JAMMU AND KASHMIR/ PONDICHEERY JUNAGADH GOA DIU DAMAN DID NOT GET INDEPENDENCE ON 15TH AUG, 1947. AND ALSO MAHATMA GANDHI WAS NOT IN DELHI ON THAT DAY.
