TMC commands just about 27 % of the vote in Bengal (psephologists agree on this based on voting patterns in 2011). The remaining 17 % out of the 44 % won by the TMC-Congress combine was brought by the Congress party to the alliance.
By contrast, the CPM alone commanded 33 % of the vote (out of 39 % won by the left alliance) in 2011 when it was facing anti-incumbency after 33 years of uninterrupted rule.
If Maladwaram and her men keep issuing threats such as this every now and then, then they will find their 27 % support evaporating in no time!

Your wired message! Last 15 years of CPM win - they openly said we have around 25% votes (fanatics) - but we know the scientific way (rigging!) to win --- elections as we did during the first 19 years. It's time tasted and evolved rigging. The B-Team (Cong.)helped many a time. Communists do not have no faith in democracy - in Indian context they are with mask -- playing waiting game to go for bersark -REVOLUTION / organised crime. We have seen their activities in close quarters. Wish it does not recur in WB or to any other state. Help them to have a natural death of their ideology.

I really hope that people of West Bengal (irrespective of their religion and the language they speak) realize that the alternative they got in the form of Trinamool and Mamata is a complete disaster and indicate the same in the next election. The Left was not much better either but when it is a choice between the bad and the worse I guess we can just go back to the 'bad'.

Unfortunately, the political parties everywhere are same. No different, be it TN or WB or Assam or UP or Punjab. Violence is in their blood. For the political parties, there is no courts, there is no law because they are law unto themselves. Even courts do not entertain cases against them for fear of judges getting eliminated. That is the pathetic situation in India.

What is desirable from Communist party they did the same by attacking Mamata banerjee and other as if anyone know the role of communist party in India during pre-independence, independence and post independence period of India they would not be surprised for their act in this attack.
A lawyer himself taking law in his hand. Is this the law and order situation in Bengal? I think he is trying to score marks to be close to the Chief Minister, Ms. Mamata Banerjee. This is not the culture of Bengalis.
