we should not show mercy to anyone from Khalistani to Kashmiri to LTTE or any region people who are responsible for Terrorist activities . Infact Sikhs themselves should come out and support hanging if they think they are true sons of India or KHalistan movement is still hiding inside their hearts. And just showoff of Patriotism.
being president is one of the finest positions in India and country is proud to have one of the greatest leaders and politicians as Presidents and I do count Mr Mukherji also, but the last president was an unforgettable case, involved in land scams, personal internation trip, (mis)use of power and position and what not; surprised to know that she has done atleast one thing - reviewed and rejected bhullar's mercy plea. Though am happy, could not understand one thing, how she could not find time to review afzal's and kasab's case.
The day this fellow has climbed into PM chair as stooge and puppet and posing as some expert there is only one thing going on -daily price rise of goods and land.It does not stop./Daily he sings GDP bhajan.has he taken any action in any other area of governance. Why Singh has not reformed judiciary and passed pending legal amendments. Why he has not tripled judiciary in last 10 years? No one stopped him.The cost of this is hardly 10% of what all these politicians spend every year. The reason is clear. These corrupt politicians don't want speed of judiciary otherwise most of then will be in jail.
The Supreme Court has dismissed the curative petition in just two lines. If due to inordinate delay in the judicial and review process the death sentence is to be commuted it would be setting a precedent. The only thing to be done now is to start judicial reforms to reduce the delays.Modernising the court proceedings by introducing the information age procedures can be a first step.

Start outsourcoing justice also.Like award contracts to dispose case files to private contrcators like retired judges, senior advicates and NGOs who have legal competence. There is no other way. WE can have 5-6 sessions courts each in distcrict so that these verdicts are censored for proprierty.

legal system must be speed up & within a time frame. the petition if pending with president of inida more than 6 months should be considered as rejected unless otherwise president specifically express some thing about mercy .

It is not the lazy constitution,it is our crooked politicians because of whom this has been delayed. Why the Punjab assembly should oass a resolution in this regard?.Why the Home Ministry should sleep so long on the files.?Unless a responsiblity of the HM or the concerned Minister is fixed and he is not answerable to the court for his in action nothing can improve. PM should reply for this delay and the officials in the President House should be pulled up for not getting the file back in time.

Nothing lazy and nothing to do with constitution either. Constitution does not define criminal law nor it says when one should be executed. IN USA a criminal waiting to be executed can wait for as long as 25 years.
