convicts will take bail now and appeal in high court. Another 5 years for case to come up before high court and another 5 years in supreme court. Then 10 years before President consider mercy petition. If convicts are not naturally dead by then , they might appeal supreme court again.

Bang on the spot. The judgement is only that of the lower court. These accused cops know the law and also know how to manipulate it in their favour. Moreover, bounded by the bond of crime, these cops may use their connects or indirect partners in crime sitting in higher influential positions. Already the accused look quite old. Most likely they die of natural death. Once the case goes to higher court, they would obtain bail and will die a natural death as free birds. And, then, anyway they have supreme court to further extend this drama. BTW, totally agreed that the crime committed by a policeman should be viewed in an extreme serious manner and should be given exemplery punishment.

The system should feel shame for doing such a mockery and claiming it as a success. Justice delayed is Justice denied. So try to correct it otherwise in future it will take another 100 years to give justice and again we sill see the head line after 100 years justice delievered and at that time culprits will be either dead or bead ridden.

Taking shelter at the loop holes of the system, the real culprits go scot free. The judicial system in India is highly deplorable.

What System we are talking about? The most inefficient, non accountable insensitive system which runs by police who do not know ABC of laws.I remember having read a 4 yrs old Boy was charged for Molestation and Court was thinking tooooooo much for granting bail which they would have happily granted to anyone in serious crime..This is UNFORTUNATELY our Judicial System Hats off to our MPs PM and the President

Not sure from where you got the news. As per IPC, nothing is a crime that has been committed by a child aging below 7 years. No court can prosecute anyone below 7 yrs. And, no policeman can touch them. Am I missing something here?
