Yeah! That's correct. Ms. Thatcher imposed emergency on U.K. like the way Ms. Gandhi impose on India. Emergency was the greatest act of treachery against democratic norms perpetrated by Ms. Gandhi. On this score alone, any comparison between the two would fail.

it was not all treachery ...people were benefitted by emergency..people understood the responsibilty and value of freedom..once in a decade we need emergency

Both Ex PMs had one undoubtful similarity. Here who emulate whom is crystal clear. I m proud atleast INDIAN lead the ENGLISH. Their traits are appreciable and enforceable now in INDIA. Toughness and firmness are the most required. Not hitherto-thitherto approach as now by the Congress.
