These Gurus and Babas keep enjoying at the expense of innocent peoples' money and lead a royal life. Not sure how many more such cases have happened behind the scenes. Since this case involves a powerful politician, details have emerged. Else, police would take money and simply cover up.

There are gurus who are genuine seekers of truth and there are interlopers who find that fake spirituality opens many doors of opportunity.There are numerous examples of gurus who were arrested for their dubious roles in business,politics or heinous crimes.
