Jon is an Indian by birth and is still. Most of the charges against him are cooked up like what many people did to Michel Jackson.

I agree. Can any one explain imprisonment laws of the USA.Once a person has been sentenced for 59 years what is the point of five more years.

Jon might be an Indian....but more important is the fact that he is a "secularist". Hence he needs to be treated royally....even though his crimes are horrendous. The MEA, Chairperson of UPA and other big guys tried their best to get him released...but then the US laws are impartial and Jon is facing the music.
But contrast this incident with the incident in Norway .A "communal" couple who slapped their own child is in prison. This act is not a crime in India. The MEA made some minor brayings and then announced that it is a case of a private Indian citizen with the authorities in Norway and hence he cannot do anything.
Sheer double standards. This is called secularism in action.
its a sad case.. there is a lot of such problem in west due to christian priests doing kids, male and female.little happens to these priests, though there are sooooo many cases he must have been aware of this and thought nothing will happen.
