In early September, the SC ordered 2 cos of the Sahara Group to deposit over $3B with SEBI. This was money supposedly collected by Sahara from crores of people.
The question is - absolutely no one has complained that Sahara has cheated them or they want money back. Even the list of depositors Sahara provided to the SC was vague - with no addresses and lots of times just name of village.
The big question is, whose money is it? No one has guts to publish full story, but this is corruption money siphoned out of India for decades, coming back in the form of small deposits from crores of unknown people.
When Sahara was forced to give back money to SEBI, obviously the powers did not want to lose this huge sum. So they have engineered a bout of reforms to push stock market up, and make the $3B. Some political parties like the SP also helped Congress in pushing this through.
In a few days, after futures expiry, markets will crash big time. The trigger will be the rollback of reforms. The govt will say we are compelled to roll back.
And all of us will just go back to life as usual. While Sahara somehow manages to find the $3B to give to SEBI. And then SEBI will try to find whose money it is, and hit a brick wall.

Look at Modi's administration in Gujarat. He is one of the few CM's who has not created any jobs in their state. Gujarat was the most job creating state for last few decades but has fared very badly in the last 8 years. There is hardly any big companies which has invested in the state. But still the state has good amount of investment mainly due to the NRI's from Gujarat community. But now it seems impossible for Gujarat to produce another Ambani or Premji.

Hitesh you said the truth bluntly. BJP lost in the last 2 general election because it failed to accept the positive work of UPA and criticized them for all their policies. During the NDA regime, unemployment was very high and there was hardly any effort from the government to encourage the investment. Modi is a good administrator but does not have the brain and willingness to bring all around development. Modi is still tied to the primitive thinking that western people will overtake us if we allow them to invest in our country. He thinks he can force upon people what he thinks to be good. People of India will never support this Taliban rule. Moreover I think BJP will be completely routed in the next election. No true Hindu will vote for BJP unless they are able to find many regional allies. So it is going to be a UPA vs 3rd front in the next election.

I cannot say about north India but bjp will not get a single vote in south. Most of the people in south are educated and cannot be fooled by the religious sentiments. People of south India wants more development and jobs and everyone knows well that bjp has hardly any good leader and experience to rule a state or the whole nation. Kannadigas made a mistake last time but the mistake will never be repeated. Andhra people understand their divisive politics and will never support them. People of TamilNadu and Kerala does not believe in religious and divisive politics. bjp will not even get their deposit in these states.

BJP WAS BLOCKING PARLIAMENT FOR ALL KIND OF ISSUE AND MAKING PARLIAMENT AS A PLACE OF PROTEST RATHER POLICY MAKING INSTITUTION . WHICH COST 2.5 LAKS PER MITUTES TO THE TAXPAYER.AND IF WE OBSERVE FROM PAST ONE YEAR THERE WAS NO REFORM DECISSION BECAUSE OF THIS CONTINUS PROTEST INSIDE PARLIAMENT.
MAIN OBJECTIVE WAS TO BLOCK UPA FOR NOT TO MAKE ANY DECISSION SO THAT PEOPLE WILL HATE IT MOST AND BJP CAN TELL PEOPLE LOOK THIS GOVT. IS NON FUNCTIONAL AND GIVE US VOTE.
BUT THINGS DID NOT HAPPEN ON THAT WAY SO MODI AND ALL HIS SUPPORTER ARE NOW UPSET
