You don't have to be an expert to answer the above question, but only need basic intelligence.
All nuclear suppliers have asked for limit on compensation in case of accident for which Congress passed liability bill.
Now if their Reactor is 100% safe they do not need the undue help of a liability bill - they could be confident that there will never be an accident.
Now that is not the case
Meaning that, the companies themselves KNOW that their reactors are NOT SAFE. And they need the support of liability limitation bill to do business in India.
Unfortunate that a significant section of middle and upper middle class of India are brainless mercenaries of right wing parties like Congress and BJP

This did not uccur to onther Indians. You are great.Be careful when eating fish or mutton because as there is always a chnace of swallowing them.
A similar protest was done by MDMK leader agaisnt the sterlite copper smelter plant in the begining. The struggle went on for more than ten years. But teh plant went into production and the people of tuticorin are paying the price. The entire town is highly polluted with red dust. What happened now no protest is going on and teh plant is in operation or rather I will call they manage to be in production. Now the same will be the case of Kudankulam. This Udatakumar will become a big leader and there will be hundreds of followers for him eithe rpaid or not. That is India.
A perceptible decline in political culture is getting reflected in the eroding credibility of the constitutional institutions.
Attempts to safeguard politically vested interests have led to politicization of these institutions.
The increasing political interference in the functioning of these institutions and presence of pliable officials have led to a situation that people are fast loosing their faith in the system.
