Delhi for long has been a place for dalali work and it has permeated into most of its residents blood. It has no distinct culture of its own but only of fixers of all kinds. So what else can be expected of the metropolis today.

I'm originally from Chennai but lived close to a decade in Saddi Dilli. Enjoyed it, felt at home except for weather. Infrastructure improved after Asiad, again decayed and thanks to massive CMG investment is now tops again. Weather to me is the most terrible aspect of Delhi: exteme heat, then heat humid, only winter was great although gloomy. However I found great and surprisingly similar attitudes in Punjabis and Tamils- both like to work hard and enjoy full throttle- no moderation, have no moderation in opinion either - are very outspoken and candid (what you see is what you get both in Chennai and Delhi, unlike many other places). Personal safety in Delhi is as bad as Mumbai, however macrolevel security is better in Delhi. Ofcourse police is more darpok in Delhi unlike Chennai where policemen are quite brutal and think they are in the army or something. Students in Delhi are quite pampered by easy access to hitech central govt programs and campuses. Lack of sports culture and also lack of appreciation of classical arts was quite apparent in Delhi. However both Delhi and Chennai are film crazy, carry religious fervour to extremes, generally safe for communities to co-exist. You can still see 3rd generation Tamils speaking fluent Tamil in Delhi unlike in Mumbai, Blore etc, mainly due to Delhi Tamil schools, and the complete freedom every community has. Similarly Chennai has Adarsh vidyalayas where Punjabis are well versed with native language. Politics is low key in Delhi.

Its expected and late to publish.Every day rapes,robbery,water,electricity scarcity and cheaters,etc...in the capital of great India with 100 crore population where parliament is located and great netas of our country who are present to serve the people of India with care and love.Congress if they rule just 5 years they will make great wonders(scams,corruption,etc)..innocent people of delhi if voting for 10 years continuously..then what else can expect....ENJOY DILLI KA DHAMAKA..........

We as Indians feel ashamed of all that is being said about us, our Prime Minister, our corrupt practices , our failures,. What is left out that has not earned us a bad reputation and now here is another one , with ou national capital being called the worst city in the world. Rise ! Rise , save the nations pride.arevolution is required now to salvage the pride. A devotion that was well started by Hazare but is now dead with ambitious and egoist campaigners. Who seek there own publicity and do not have the welfare of the nation in sight. A silent evolution should start that stirs the conscious of the common man like Satyamev Jayte did in the initial episodes which was later bogged down making the later episode sa damp squib. Everything gets bogged down here. Can we have SMSleaders who lead us and bring us all out of our selfish modes

Delhites are rude, lack compassion, lack respect. They are biggest Oppurtunists. They take advantage of every opportunity and that includes taking advantage of women. To make it worse they think no end of themselves or their city. They think they are better only because they are from delhi. don't know much about rest of the country. That is most people. I have also met some very good people in delhi too.
