The leadership has lost its creativity and originality and making things happen to move India to higher echelons. If this continues for long Congree will lose badly in next election.

NAM summit
by Varma on Sep 05, 2012 01:57 AM

Author of this article should notice that the First priority of the NAM is friendship with the people of the different nation represented, NOT with their leaders. Hugo Chavez is the President of Venezuela. It’s the friendly Venezuelans that matter, not their leaders. The people of Venezuela donated petrol for heating to poor citizens of the UK in 2010 and 2011.

Very well written. A rational look at the NAM. People of the Kongress who are hellbent on ruining India ignore reality and the dangers that threaten India.

Very true. It is only the culturally bereft, civilizationally challenged, institutionally hollow, morally corrupt and intellectually nonexistent Kangress and its Leftists loony cronies in the media and academia who love NAM, a world platform of dictators, despots, tyrants, crooks and thugs. With MMS and his chorts still drooling about things like NAM< India can forget being part of the UNSC or any world body that matters.

Relevance of NAM
by alok Misra on Sep 04, 2012 02:11 PM  | Hide replies

Nam is not what it used to be. India has to make its own group in it.It is all based on what you can dole out.China has been doling out lot of money and so gaining influence around the world. Our people take advantage but do not part tat benefits not to Indians and not to foreigners. So how can you be called hero!!

NAM is irrelevent and sheer waste of time. Many regional groups, groups of developed countries and group of developing countries besides the two major powers have come up to safeguard their interest.

NAM is so big and so divergent that it can not be managed.
