I am fed up of this LIC_ad.I decided not to read this news because of this invasive advertising.I will recommend people not to buy LIC policies because I have realised it is total loss.
A)Better to invest Rs 1000 every month in Recurring Deposit and then fix the amount in NSC once the 5 year RD period is over.
In five years you can get 80,000 which if fixed for 5 years can become 140,000. If this 140,000 is fixed for another 5 years,you can get 250,000 and if fixed for another 5 years,it can become 4,50,000.
B)Now after 5 years,you start another RD,so that will give,in similar way 250,000 after 15 years to match with the 20 years of A
C)Now after 10 years,you start depositing another 1000 every month and after 10 years you get 140,000 to match with B
D)Now after 15 years,you start another RD of 1000 per month,and after 5 years you get 80,000.
So,by investing Rs 1000 every month for 20 years,you get at the end of 20 years ,a sum of a plus b plus c plus d ,Rs 9,40,000.
But if you deposit 12,000 per year in LIC for 20 years,you hardly get Rs. 4,00,000.
If you say,LIC covers death risk,then please note the risk amount you can get by investing in LIC Rs 12,000 per year will be what you can earn from RD of five years which is fixed for fixed deposit for another 5 years.So,nothing great LIC pays.
So,eat properly,stop too much whisky_Gutka_Beer Bar visit,sleep on time,drive properly and remain alive for 10 years to do RD of Rs 1000 per month.
And if you donot want to get duped,please donot invest in ULIP and other unit linked policies of ICICI,HDFC,etc.If you invest 50,000 in such policies,you will get 30,000 after 5 years.Better continue small savings every month,build your capital and if you have more money,put it in NSC and when you have even more money,buy one small piece of land,or house or even a shop.If you sell house or land,you will get double money after 5 years.Even you can buy gold_bars but please donot get fooled_by these big companies who are doing scams_all around to loot_the money of poor_Indians...

u r absolutely right, ICICI has cheated me same way, on wut i invested for 5 yrs they r returning me 3/4 of that, giving non-sense reason

Request you not to compare with ants or crows etc.One good quality in those is unity. We Indians don't have.Whatever sicks & evils we have in Indian society nowhere in animal group.
we need at least couple of bases in parcel or Taiping island or near these islands! We also need to strengthen our ties with vietnam Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia and Japan.

We also need to develop lot of midget attack submarines to easily slip thru these coral rich shallow waters. We can seek help from Japan, indonesia and Singapore in this effort. Japan has rich experience in developing such midgets since world war.

Also not good news is Sri Lanka cozying up to China, this means that China is doing what you are suggesting but in reverse direction, exercising control over South of India waters.

Chinese defense planners have ensured that India is surrounded-China to the North,Pakistan to the west-Burma/Bangla to the East,Sri Lanka to the south and other countries like Maldives in the Arabian sea! China has the capacity to construct Very large warships indegeniously and very quickly.Not so with India where projects take decades!
The Dynasty founder and his successors had no vision for India as a world power that it once was. The VB politics made all this even worse as disruptive forces within India stifled the rise of nationalism. A change of vision is the first priority for success in any venture.

fully agree...India is being eaten up from within...the dynastic rule and hobnobbing with nawabs and dictates of mafias based in Pakistan & Dubai has destroyed the Indian ethose irretrievably. India's civilization is in danger.
India cannot dominate , nor can proceed until it clears the mess from Inside, by eradicating Jihadists, terroists and Maoist. Because the Ideology of these evils are similar to those propogated by Pakistan and China respictively. Until and UNless we clear this ideologies from Inside/within the Indian soil, None of the external posturing would be of any help, as both Pakistan and China would laugh at us with these monstors in our own home.

Our former defence chiefs said that India can last only a month if a full fleged war is broken out because we have ammo of only one month for such wars. Where is the long term planning?

Chinas manufacturing capacity was promoted by Bill Clinton. The then US president. China had at least 20 years of 10 plus percent growth. Chinese economists saw the European economic slowdown already in 2006 and shifted their activities more towards Asia, Africa and South America. China has a problem. It has money in excess. It just purchased 50 air busses from the European manufacturers just to keep in touch with them. Then their think thank is monitoring world events very closely. In Syria their policy is just to see how much muscle power the USA has. Then on USA they are aware that drought has made the USA a food importing country. They can get along with Poetin of Russia and they even know who Lallu Prasad Yadav in India is. Chinas defense budget is a big secret. Their defense buildup is based on a different policy. First the largest nuclear submarine fleet in the world, the rest comes later.

You think? electronics the reason for modern war and china for some good time being on top of supercomputing makes sense they are not far behind and may be ahead, as they are noy an open society.

China is no match for US..actually no one is, not yet. A nation of 320 million creating nearly 25% of worlds wealth is unprecedented in history. China is nowhere near, not yet.
