CAG must do a good job
by VB S on Sep 03, 2012 03:40 PM

CAG can play an active and decent role not hurting progress but avoiding such fake media hype and kind of a political actions seen so far.

CAG must have found policy misuse in or any other such resources like 2G, Delhi airport and coal rather than notional loss which stands no ground other than becoming a political weapon while this also could be given a proper forms.

These institutions should stand with high grade and decent ethical grounds.

CAG must not be media hungry and avoid fake media hype.

Government must stand firm on right logics and accept mistakes other buckling down.

In coal, 2G and Delhi airport nothing worth has come out other than media hype which has hurt national interest scaring investors and creating negative environment.

Other than the Election Commission (which, since the days of TN Seshan, has lost some teeth), CAG is the only organization which the Govt. takes note of. The CAG reports are sent to PAC is another matter in that the PAC whitewashes everything! Will someone please enlighten me on how many ministers/politicians have been indicted by the PAC since its inception? Nevertheless, CAG, you are doing a wonderful job - you have indirectly stalled the parliament's monsoon session, and my request is please carry on without fear or favour.

as it is the CAG report that has put the GOVT under so much problem. Lower the credibility and the issue will fade away. -- A very old congressitactic. People are asking as to where all the crores of rupees have gone and the Govt is answering it by putting the accuser in the dock. Looks like India must escape from these people as they are not doing justice to what they have been elected for. Why is azhagiri's son's scam not coming to light. MEdia needs to grow up.

CAG,

Pl. wake up and address the concerns raised in the article; we depend on you to ensure our taxes are spent and not wasted. Your excemplery work on 2G and Coalgate should be the benchmark for all your other assignments.
