to big time corporate thieves by shifting Jaipal Reddy out of the petroleum ministry and bringing in the ever-pliable Veerappa Moily!
Jaipal Reddy had been resisting moves by Mukesh Ambani's RIL to steal big time from the KG D6 gas basin by putting up a demand for a hike in gas prices long before such price rise was due (April 2014 as per the agreement between RIL and the govt.).
Mr. Reddy saved the exchequer more than Rs.8000 crore rupees by preventing it from falling into the avaricious hands of Mukesh Ambani.
In return, MMS has shifted him and brought in Veerappa Moily to allow Mukesh Ambani to run away with the loot!
Not for nothing has MMS and Ahluwalia been braying out for long to reduce govt. social sector expenditure!

Same way B K Handique was removed from mining ministry to ensure loot in coal..

Not much can be done now about social expenditure - govt has been reducing all kinds of benefits given to us.
