has become family-cracy. Sons and daughters of political heavyweights find the easier route to power and because illiterate and gullible Indian electorate can be easily fooled these guys win elections from the most backward of constituencies (deliberately kept backward) and before you say Jack Thomson, the 'young bloods' find their way to power.
Democracy is supposed to bring up the cream of able people from the roots, but in our pseudocracy it is not given a chance.
Typical Indian political party: Family Chamchas supported by a billion fools.

Why blame polticians only??? the report of an industrialist trapping a famous tv channel of asking for birbe of 100 crores to suppress the facts has shown that the media and intellectula are equal or more villains than our crooked polticians, right, folks??? now i understand why the rediffff behaves strangely be deleting selctive messages and twisting facts and news stories! surely rediffff is not alone in shady deals, surely!why not make redifff mooderator the greatest intellectual and competent person ever born the ruler of our republic and chief elction commissioner, chief jsutcie and chief of army staff, etc, etc all combined??? he is from vaatican too and he is encyclopedia britanniaca in human form and can solve all our problems and even worl dproblems within one year, right folks???hehehehehehehehehehe
This is a golden opportunity for Mr Rahul Gandhi to join the Union Cabinet as Foreign Minister. After the next general elections, he can accept the post of PM, which most Indians have been clamouring for over the last few years.
Is it an act too much of susceptibility or perspicacity, or a perplexity in fear of being axed as being reported in media, or an attempt of cowardiced solicitation of Dr.Singh's (or madam's!) sympathy and favouritism for the undisturbed reinstatement! For whatever reason it is, it is not befitting a man of strong will; a Strong leader! His case doesn't deserve reconsideration! For, India needs strong Ministers; nay, parliamentarians: not those who survive by the practice of perpetual obeisance; an act innuendos to political onanism!

Mr Sasidharan Nair: You have a very good command of the English language but what you write is difficult for mango men to understand. Perhaps you could rewrite your message in simple language.

My friend, I decline to believe that all of us, Indians, are mango men, as is, perhaps, your presumption is! Your writing is logically proved beyond reasonable doubt,to be more of a qualitative texture than I could have even thought of bettering over! Why then the sarcasm; dear? Anyway, Good to have your views!

There you go again. But seriously, most of us, including yours truly, are mango men.

I think the way the tough are going these days, that proverb should be changed to "When the going gets tough, the tough get going home (or toDogs)"!!!
He had no contribution except being another sycophant of the Gandhi Nehru dynasty ruling the country. He was gasping for breath reading wrong speeches and was a profound source of embarasment. # years of Govt care for no work was a good time for retirement and lot of foreign tours. He had the company of another like hin in the other in our ex president.
