I think most people, excepting the few who blindly follow BJP, recognize that there are deep flaws in the system. Extraordinary powers are vested in the govt which have paved way to totally out-of-control corruption. Clearly the Congress party needs a purge, some smaller parties do too. The levels of corruption conducted by political party percolates through the whole system where from top to bottom every govt official is corrupt - the private companies like DLF joined the party. This makes India the foremost kleptocracy in the world - and should be made a case study in every political and economic case study. There are some wonderful articles on case studies of poor countries - which conclusively show corruption as the main cause of disfunctional systems. Vadra thinks India is a banana republic, I think kleptocracy is the appropriate term which his family heads. The swiftness with which the land deals in Haryana in Vadra deals were done are amazing, given the inefficiency of govt in cases of multiple rape cases and floods where day after day people are left without help. How many of you went to buy a land and got it granted within a day - amazing!
at last AK realised that no point in sitting on the road as indians will not came out of their homes like egyptians and jantar mantar will not become tahrir square.hehehehe
There is nothing new about what these activists (Hazare, KJW) etc. are telling. Since ages, people know that most of political class are corrupt.... even then people have been voting the same politicians...Can any of these corrupt be punished? if not what is new about saying so and so are corrupt? In fact this is all(exposing) a big time and energy waste!!
I find that these activists missed a fundamental point... this is democracy.. hence it is not just rulers are corrupt.. rulers came from the mud of 100 Cr. population who are also morally corrupt, who vote according to their self-benefits like cast/religion/language etc..
If voters are clean, how come corrupt/criminals are getting elected with majority?.. having said that. Can these activists change the mindset of 100 Cr. irresponsible self-centered voters?.. I challenge, they can not!!

truly, but for voters there is no option left as all parties are currupt.mr.kejriwal rightly said there is only "satta paksh" in our country..n only vipaksh is poor people who have no other option left but to vote this so called "satta paksh"
Basically it is the illiteracy which is killing our Country. Our Modern class public sits in AC rooms & do not go for voting. However, labour class make it a point to cast their votes & are lured by historic figures like Gandhi / Nehru family. Unfortunately what they don’t know is that new generation fake Gandhi Family is busy looting the country.
We Indians are a nation of the Corrupt, let us admit that. We all, including this writer would be happy if something is given free to us. We just do not want to work hard for our uplift like the Japanese and the Germans did after WW 2 had crushed their countries. Our national character is largely hypocritical. We are all watching the K drama, as if it is another serial on TV, yet not many of us are interested in thinking over what has gone wrong in our country let alone acting on it.We do not even care to vote on election days.To take ideological positions is a task we leave to our extra clever politicians. This being so, if K thinks that eradicating Corruption will solve all our problems, he is deluding himself and the credible fools that we are.Governance of our incredibly complex country beset with many dangerous problems like the grim external and internal security scenario, the sliding economy and the rising tide of inflation, requires hard work and determination from all of us. Corruption, huge menace though it is, is just one of our many challenges.Let us not delude ourselves that Shri K, honest, tough, intelligent and courageous though he is,will like the pied piper will drive away corruption and we have only to watch the fun.
