Talibans are follower of SALAFI brand of Islam and consider BARELWIs and AHMADIYAS as Kafirs. Taliban has always targeted them. So if the Barelwis are protesting it does not matter to the majority SUNNies who are follower of DEOBAND and support Taliban.
