Railway employees to go on hunger strike for better pay

instead of opening new railway lines and spending money on various welfare schemes, railway should focus on safety standards and salaries.

All pays in govt. deptt. in particular of class IV, III and II group must be brought down to national standard, all perqs. are also to be brought at par with other private sector. Today perqs. in govt. deptt are 3-4 times higher comparing to labour laws in relation to leaves, facilities, retiral, etc.,etc.,

fantastic point. Madam mamta is giving free airconditioned second tickets plus a lot of other facilities, their salaries & perks are very high compared to other sectors..now they want more, they are resorting to blackmail..

They want to loot the country. They should see and learn from the Indian Air Lines and AIr India. Too much of pays will fail the organization. No doubt. Take my word.

Really its a blackmailing and railway ministry should look for alternatives. Take the people on contract like in private sector.
