It is strange that every body from Mulayam, Lalu, Sonia, Mayawati and Nitish to Mr. Owaisi are working to prevent BJP from getting stronger in the name of prerving the secularism in India. In fact they are preventing the strengthening the Hindu community, who are undoubtly and fundamentally the most secular religious group on earth in order to realise their own petty aspirations under the garb of representing aspirations of smaller and smaller groups. Is any other religion secular at all? In fact no other religion is secular in ideology or in practice. in fact, the demand for secualarism by other religious groups is just a means for grabbing more and more political space and ultimately impose their communal award. In fact, people confuse democracy with secularism. We have seen that though both of neighbours Bangladesh and pakistan while being democracies are not secular and bangladesh became Islamist country only very recently. As such democracy itself is no guarantee for preservation of secularism. What we require to preserve secularism is to promote growth and empowerment of fundamnetally secular communities and check and control growth of fundamentally communal groups. What is happening is just opposite and we are beset witb problems like Assam and Kashmir and have people like Owaisi demanding more and more space for communal forces and sidelining of secular groups by turning them in minority by killing, raping, converting and so on.

That Mulayam's SP banks purely on Yadav and Minority votes, BSP on Dalit votes and Congress who keeps playing the reservation card again and again are all purely casteist parties and at the same time corrupt and communal. Lalu was the architect of the famous fodder scam. Mulayam flaunting Maulanas at meetings, Nitish using Osama look alike in election meetings etc. and Congress steeped into unprecedented scams all prove beyond doubt that they are all arch corrupt, communal and casteist parties. All of them now have ganged up to smother the democracy in India. That they have nothing nationalistic about them is proved by the fact that the government has not taken any initiative post Assam riots to tackle the cancer of illegal Bangladeshi migrants and seek a lasting solution. That the illegal migrants issue is a great threat to India's integrity and sovereignty has been voiced by all the big intelligence and security agencies. A recent NDTV documentary showed that millions of Bangladeshi migrants are living in Mumbai and other metropolitan cities with changed identities (they have taken up Hindu names in many instances) and that they have been involved in many terrorist attacks and communal riots. Is is just sufficient on our part to keep raising the bogey of infiltration and vote bank politics and doing nothing about it? How long will our security remain hostage to these vote banks?
