all people can worship in a;l shrines, really. problem starts only when some claim that their faith involves the destruction of others, calling them devil-devos.

Why shameless divide Indians always

Such authors should be called unpatriotic , lets focus on legal issues if any in this case and solve it rather than saying discrimination and instigating people .

We as a country will never grow if we put religion ,caste ,creed community language above the nation.

There might be a problem but lets not give it religious angle only look at it objectively through the eyes of law why such permissions are denied and how can they fixed and work to fix it .

Well said mate... Rediff should not have put up this article which is clearly divisive and biased...
I think if somebody is being ignored in India, then it is the majority which is Hindus!!!

The population which consists of a Majority of Christians and the minority being Hindus should live in peace and brotherhood for which the confidence restoration responsibilty lies squarely on the former !

That can happen in KL where pastors have a huge role in society. In TN that level of political influence is not going to come. The author quotes rules followed in TN about religious places within 1km. That sort of rule can't be flexed around in TN, especially no political leader cares about minority votes.

These articles are inteneded to make communal conflict

such articles leaves an impression that interests of the (so called)minorities are not protected in India. Talk to the minorities in Pakistan to know how they are treated.India is a land for all faiths.Rediff should refrain from publishing such articles which creates communal conflict

Unfortunately the pastor and the writer are comparing TN with Kerala. In KL pastors have a huge role in social life. In TN Jaya is Pro-hindu, which irritates minorities. And Karunanidhi while being anti-hindu is hardly pro-minority to the level that pastors are used to elsewhere.

You are right Mr Sreeraj. As a Christian I am telling these temple or church authorities should solve their differences within themselves and create a peaceful atmoshphere.
