This is the kind of hidebound, insular, xenophobic :leader" who will usher-in a progressive, prosperous egalitarian society? It's people like him with their moronic simpistic concepts who are responsible for keeping this such a backward, underdeveloped poverty-stricken land of filth and squalor.
Big industry needs lots of contiguous land, plenty of water, electricity, roads, buildings, and yet they create pollution on land, water and air.
But in order to create millions of jobs in organized sector who pay taxes, we don't have an alternative model. Small cottage industries have been tried for 150 years in India with no significant success. And more over the employment remains in unorganized sector where tax payers are almost zero.
The economic models of Capitalism, Communism, Socialism, Mixed-Models, Gandhian Model, etc have been tried for over 100 years and the only thing that survived longest in the Capitalism.
However, Capitalism comes with its own faults. It can also become anti-poor and anti-environment.
So, the key is take Capitalism and create a variant of it and use it. Ofcouse, any system must be managed well in order to get good results.
