a vastly overrated nincompoop pm
by shilpy on Dec 02, 2012 06:36 PM

this guy was an unelected pm. naturally, a disaster. the claim that he was a gentleman is underwhelming and totally irrelevant. he might as well have been pm of pakistan which now mourns "the loss". the_itiot jeopardized india's security. that india gets such nincompoops at the top is really its misfortune. now we have the gandhis! the curse does not seem to go away.

the division is already existing in the constitution as there are separate laws for Muslims as there for Hindus. In fact Muslims don't enjoy as many right outside of India as they do in India,

A decent, good intellectual who would have been better than our current PM. But Gujral Saab was amongst cunning and corrpt politicians like Laloo,Mulayam, etc and finally the undependable Congress pulled the rug from under his feet for their selfish interests. But his govt was free from Scams and wholesale corruption that your find .today.RIP Sir

Should be saint and take sanyas

In 1997, Prime Minister I.K. Gujral shut down both the CITs aimed at Pakistan on moral grounds.

The intrusion of Pakistan-backed armed forces into the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir (GlobalSecurity) in 1999 prompted questions about RAW's efficacy

What is CIT? As reports go, he disbanded Pak units of RAW and we lost a lot of informers in Pakistan who were working on the ground.

The ISI diverted part of funds and arms and ammunition to the Khalistani terrorists

In retaliation, in the mid-1980s, RAW set up two covert groups of its own, Counter Intelligence Team-X (CIT-X) and Counter Intelligence Team-J (CIT-J), the first targeting Pakistan in general and the second directed at Khalistani groups.

Older people like Gujral should not be made PM, rather they should serve as Adviser to new generation PMs,whose age should be less than 50.

Does it matter where he cremated or buried, you Indians will create a chaos in the country any way.
Whole of India will be asked to close just for a dead body to be disposed off.
few will die and many will get injured for no reason.
You all will flock the area in a way that if emergency vehicle has to pass through it will be impossible.
You people go mad on such trivial and useless things.
What will you gain where he is buried or cremated.

You are not in your sense. Why always think of Hindu/muslim angle. In Hindus or Sikhs they sometime bury the bodies.
