DYNASTIC politics is the bane of India! A majority of parties are now FAMILY businesses! 2nd, 3rd & 4th generations are ruling the roost in Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir,Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Orissa/Odisha...... Can the Congress, DMK, SP, RJD, Lok Dal, LJP, MIM, BJD, Shiv Sena, Akali Dal, Haryana Vikas Party, etc be called anything but FAMILY BUSINESSES? And the fruits of dynastic politics ensure that these political dynasties are now worth millions!
99% of POLITICAL DYNASTY heirs have done ZERO work in their life. There are over 100 examples in this LOK SABHA alone! Once you take RAJYA SABHA & the State LEGISLATURES into count, it will run into thousands! Lakhs of such political scions are in positions from PANCHAYATS & MUNICIPALITIES too.
The only work a a Jagan Reddy or a Sharmila know is holding up both hands in the air and sport goofy smiles! And sycophants & chamchas kowtow to family members of these political dynasties.
Where is internal democracy in any of these political parties? Do they have organizational elections? Dynasty heirs are foisted & nominated "UNANIMOUSLY".The post independence generation of politicians have subverted democracy and created a new class of royalty in place of the feudal lords, zamindars and royal families of the past- Political Dynasties and Royalty!

Be iit Andhra, Maharashtra or any other state. No politician in India can live without sycophants & chamchas around him. He needs them besause he has nothing else to show. These chamchas spend fortunes for praising these netas. Imagine why they spend there own money for appeasing there neta! They must be getting back multifolds from public money when the neta becomes an MP or MLA.

Well said PIRI! This is the kind of vain sentiment that allows the Nehru-Gandhi family or the Akali Dal or Samajwadi Party or DMK or Shiv Sena or umpteen other smaller political dynasties to perpetuate FAMILY RULE & dynastic politics
