Even in a right crazy country such as U.S., abortion is allowed in rare cases such as rape, incest and if the life of the mother is at risk. I don't know why the Ireland should be any different. Just imagine, if an Irish lady was refused abortion in India and dies, on religious grounds, what an uproar it would have created here and abroad. The sense of double standard is appaling.

Pray quote the verse of any Ved, Puran or Upanishad that calls for such.

You can't label ignorance, illiteracy and poverty as H. H doesn't have a notion of non believers or even a notion of the creator having only one son who is supposed to have sacrificed for the unseen and undocumented sins of unborns. Hence there is no need to make followers of all men. One doesn't need to be saved by anyone or converted to anything to become a true Hindu. One just has to live a truly noble life and once one is able to do so, one achieves salvation. And no, I don't think following any of the rituals that the so called belivers have riddled H with today will do any good. The other world religions do however, have all these notions of non believers, and needing to be saved, and the most glaring of all, simply hailing a particular will absolve one of all their sins as someone has already been punished.. what a fairy tale.

Sad news but just another example of ignorance. And I'm not even talking about the ignorance demonstrated by non Indians. Indians just love the West - they pretend that they don't but right from the selling of fairness lotions to aping everything the gora from the West does. Heck in various parts of India they will rather speak in broken English so heavily accented that one can't even distinguish from mono syllables rather than speak in Hindi. Add to this ignorance a love for money and then all this is self explanatory. I guess one reaps what one sows.
