Xi Ji Ping is very happy to be the leader of the most barbaric communist China with over 1.3 billion Chinese who are the most backward in human rights.
Mao, Dengxio Ping, Cheng Zimin and Hu Jin Tao were extremely sucessful in destroying Tibet, its people and culture, religion and traditions.
He is also very happy to continue to destroy Tibet and its people with barbaric communist system and rule and let the international people to watch it as before.
It is quite possible that under this "new leadership" Indian states of Arunachal Pradesh and (hopefully) West Bengal will become Chinese territories like Tibet!
All the CCP members are the graduates from Tsinghua university - our IIT Kanpur equivalent. In fact entire political leadership comes from there. The current president is Phd in mechanical Engg, PM is Electrical engineering and now the next President is Chemical Engineer - when the country is ruled by professional engineers and technocrats - a country is bound to succeed because the IQ of these people would be a lot higher than our 32rd grade street politicians like Mayawati/Mamata/Mulayam/Chauthala/Pawar of the world ...You can argue, you can feel very patriot to the extent of being jingoist but if you care to read history truly spoecially the rise of China - you can not ignore this fact. They were much worse than we were in 1947 and now the hold the patents of USB , Petscan and in fact 3rd largest patent holders after Japan/USA. We have those Hi-Tech special economic processing zone (a place holder for doing the real estate business by the IT company) and look at their Shenzhen Hi-tech area where there are 45 University campus churning out 12000 Btech 500 MS and 500 Phd every year ... Knowledge is power and now they have that. So no one can their wildest dream could ever stop them. This is simply because their government are headed by the creame of the society (Tsinghua university enrolls top 20 students of every state)and where as we are governed by thugs and idiots. in 1950s & 1960s our country was much better governed because the politicians were all very well read !

China is only ruled by the Communist Party. Communist Party there has embraced Capitalism and thus China succeeds economically. China proves that if you want to succeed economically, you adopt capitalism regardless of your political leanings! Lesson I hope for Indian commies.

You can call me Commie! and I am OK with it if and only if we in India become as prosperous, well fed, well educated, well disciplined, wekk respected in sports and academics and be reconed with one supreme world power. we can trash China to our hearts content but now they control and we don't though we were way better off than them in 1947!!

The main reason China succeeds economically is because it abandoned Maoist and Marx style communism in favour of capitalism. The main reason China is still backward on freedom and individual rights is because it has not made this change in the political dimension.

OK up to a point. However US, the super power does not have politicians who are technocrats. Yes mostly they have been in Defence Services. Notice that none of them are bigger than their party. They are there because of their party. On the other hand we have been feudal. Our party is because of the leaders. That is unfortunate, but in India we vote for the leader. At one time China was also because of Mao; but they have changed. Our mind set must also change if we have to get ahead. But on a positive note, it takes some time to evolve. I am sure the new generations are wide awake and they will make a difference as time passes. A Rupee WILL become equal to a Dollar.
for countries like india and china.. there is no point having 2.6 billion and then trying to feed all mouths and make like sustainable for all by rampaging through natural resources. having this much population in the first place is disastrous.. if china n india had around 300-600 million at most.. they would be far more prosperous without having to put so much strain on providing for all and less strain on natural resources

Inspite of the fact that these netas do not work and want to be in the news and nothing else still they get their quota of votes by hook or crook (mostly by crook) by throwing few bones to the illiterate electorates in their constituency and rule the entire country by becoming a minister and loot the tax payers. This is despite the fact that everybody is fully aware that they are fit for nothing. Will the system ever change?

u ar right ramani. this illiterate are farmers, drivers, vendors , workers etc they have different issue to deal with not elections its " SURVIVAL ", few bones means one day SURVIVAL, there mentallity will not let them think about consequences there after. basically level corruption is part of common peoples most(80%) babu in goverment(private also) office (may be/ or) corrupt this are not ministers they are among us.
