The 1962 war -- Where did India go wrong?
by raman govindan on Nov 02, 2012 11:20 PM

Mr. Nehru was undisputed leader of India around 1962. there were hardly any opposion to him. he thought his strength will carry him forward in the clash with China. he failed to understand the international politics is diffrent ball game. there were a lot of Nehru bajan mandals, now later they took form of, Indira, Rajiv and now sonia/rahul bajan mandals! India ranks poor in HDI, our import is twice that of our export,

now his attitude has given birth to several bajan mandal for regional leaders.

there are no leaders of substance at present in India who has vision, capacity, leadership qualities to take India forward in the INC, BJP or the third front! we have vigrahams/leaders who listen to bajans and get strength and popularity! our import will become three fourth of our exports consisting of less value added products or iron ore etc. we will be colonised without a foreign soldir setting foot on our soil!

and bajanm mandals will grow and their heads will become the leaders of India!

Its essential.
Chinese are better at war and India needs fear component for insurance networks.
But its only a business, war is an extra effort, a deviant. That's how they were sidelined by senas slowly slowly.

That's why!

Though the gamut of India-China rivalry are too vast to be discussed or replied too in one post, the writer's final line "When regimes in Beijing and Moscow open their historical records, must democratic India fear its own past?". Rana ji, the reason the successive ruling regimes, irrespective of parties have collaborated in keeping a lid on the truth is that India's post-independence past, or even its present, is anything but democratic.

The reason is that if these records are made public then everybody will know that nehru and his chmchas wre thoroughly inept and incapable persons. why talk only about china war, what about the mess created by him in Kashmir war. let us admit that He was only a charmer and was totally unfit for any responsible position

Forget about Kashmir. Even Delhi is in a mess now due to the family. If ever i want to throw chappal at it will be Nehru.

Our bureaucrats homework failed, they mis led Nehru and other politicians and made them involved in full scale war with China without any preparation.
