China has more than 3 time land area of India. Their population is around 135 Cr & of India 125 Cr. More land area means more resources & low population density. China has increased itself into a World Power economically & on military front. Secondly they have single party govt & is engaged whole hardheartedly in their development. And due to these power they started threatening the neighboring countries & other countries too. Particularly for India this situation is very pathetic because china has made Pak his strategic friends. Our Govt remained in the inactive mode even after 1962 & did nothing to counter Pak or China. Now the threats are so severe that they started incursion day after day and we are in a dilemma to counter these two. This was remained failure on the part of the central govt to create preparedness. Now the danger is overhead and the new govt have to tackle the situation diplomatically & to create the weapons in house with the help of FDI so that we could stand on our feet. For that time we should hold them tactfully & create our relationship with Russia, USA, Israel etc. Hence we Indian should support the govt wholeheartedly.
China has over $US 2.5 trillion forex reserves and already manufactures everything from pins to planes....what has India to offer? Democracy?? Apparently they haven't heard the old saying.."money talks and bulls#!t walks". The dragon-masters have money to burn, while the plodding elephant-wallahs are still stuck in penury, mired in poverty and backwardness.

Yes, both is fast developing countries, but please note that, china is 4 times bigger than India, china is a supper power, inida is a second class power, you even have no industry, look at your beautiful air craft, it is a joke, you always talk, we action
China has always been way ahead of India in investing in Myanmar. They take quick decisions and have far more financial resources than India has. You consider this with the second rate minds that populate the south block as evidenced by mistake after mistake regarding India's foreign policy towards its neighbors, and its no wonder why China get the upper hand in Nepal, Myanmar, Sri Lanka etc.

Agree totally. very well said. It has been more than 60 years and Indian leaders never understood the value of the NE states. How could they? The combined IQ of the ministers of each successive government should not exceed 10!
Atishay's article is extremely well written and a path showing article for the foreign policy planners. But are those planners listening or do they really care. People in the power corridors must give attention to such writings which will help India become a great power in the world.
