I second you, Ravi had no right to do what he did, and he should be punished for homicide not for initmidation or descrimination

Homicide? Really? Ravi has no right, but Tyler should have right to bring a 30 year old man in Ravi's shared dorm room to have fun? Right? Crazy world!!

no man, the person who lost his life made a choice... he could have lived had he handled things differently. It is convenient to blame Dharun. A low hanging fruit. If you look beyond the viel, Clementi was a nut case emotionally. He was himself responsible for the choices he made. Dharun can at best be guilty of invasion of privacy, not of murder.

I agree. Clement was responsible for his unfortunate choice. These are immature pranks that are pulled on thousands of college students by fellow students everywhere. While it is not right, going to extreme decisions is unwarranted. A suicidal person can jump off the cliff even for a minor reason. There are examples of young lovers committing suicide for rejection, abusive language etc. It would be idealistic to believe that the world will be free of any sort of provocation.

What is abetment to suicide? Do you know in law, any reason which forces and individual to commit a suicide is abbetment to suicide. Ravi must get much sever punishment. If you are crossing road and drunk driver runs over you, will you call that it was your mistake that you wanted to cross the road, you made the choice to cross road.

No. The very fact that there are enough desis on both sides suggests that people have formed their opinions (just like you have) based on reasons.

Asian Indian community is much respected in US. It won't change because of your comments or Ravi's stupidity.
