It is convenient to blame Dharun. A low hanging fruit. If you look beyond the viel, Clementi was a nut case emotionally. He was himself responsible for the choices he made. These are immature pranks that are pulled on thousands of college students by fellow students everywhere. While it is not right, going to extreme decisions is unwarranted. A suicidal person can jump off the cliff even for a minor reason. There are examples of young lovers committing suicide for rejection, abusive language etc. It would be idealistic to believe that the world will be free of any sort of provocation.    Forward   |   Report abuse

Ravi must get much sever punishment.
