you are wrong. the american election is open, transparent, conforms to legality, devoid of gonndagiri, is fair and square. the candidates interact extensively with the voters and the media, and the voters know a good deal about their candidates. scheming sonia gandhi (no relation of himesh gandhi, btw) lied about her education and funds does not come close.

right! once an Indian becomes a citizen of another country, say USA, he should cease to think of his Indian identity, think and act like true citizens of USA!
that sort of attitude helps him incidentally him and improves the image of India also!

I truely appreciate Condelliza Rice, former Secratarey of State, USA. if one were to listen or read her statements and does not her know otherwise, he cannot make out that she was an African American! there is no bitterness of the grave injury done to her ancestors brought and treated as slaves. she acted and talked and still does, like the true citizen and leader of all the nation and not a partisan or a sectarian leader!

it should be compared to the attitude of some of our minority community and their vociferous leaders who were rulers for most of the last 1000 years of our History who remain critics for every minor acts of omission and commission in a democratic India!

its not the fault of someone who achieves good outside India... Its otherway we take pride in people doing , achieving some hieghts ... we say Hotmail found by Indian, we say Mr. Laxmi Mittal is richest Indian... where as the fact is they are not indian... its just when we want to feel proud about our country we we put them in top list... and then we only blame them for not doing anything for India... but the realty is they are just Indian origin but living outside India and citizen of other respective countries... they earned their wealth, their name in that country.... infact no one knows what they hv sacrificed to achieve that... its not at all easy to settle in some other country... far away from family and friends... mind you... you dont become a citizen fromd day one...

hardly indian

almost all indian-americans who get into govt service are married to an american or born to an american father or mother. These indian origin achievers have only one connection with real Indian, that is the skin color. or may be surnames that sound like indian. Problem is these public elects don't relate to the hindu culture. Its impossible to ignore hindu connection to indian culture, however loud we shout about secularism.

First live in USA for some time, know Indians and then say something, only a 0.0001 % of Indians marry outside, I mean to Americans or Chinese or other ethnicities, I have been living in states for more than a decade and i have seen and observed much, ofcourse Indians living in USA are americanized and loosing their mother language, roots etc. but it is wrong to say that they all are marrying americans or born to American father or mother
