PAK VISIT
by Subramaniam Ragunathan on May 16, 2012 10:52 AM

It is one gimmic and may be nth in the order since 1947/48 conflict. No use and waste of public money. Talking chase Urudu and enjoying the trans Vindyachal hospitality would deliver nothing. They will go on cheating the big neighbour. The visiting team from the Failing country to the already failed country can bring nothing useful to the economy or people and a waste of everything. try not bring such useless articles.

One question - why did they come back?
by jaggu on May 15, 2012 04:20 PM

If Paki-satan hospitality is so great why did these people come back? Our Govt could have sent their family too on one way ticket.

Vijay meeah tu toh bangaya muesla!
by Kattar Bhashi on May 14, 2012 09:46 PM  | Hide replies

This is a terrible attempt at moving away from the grim realities that confront the relationship between two countries split forever. These bleeding heart writings and puff pieces about a 'civil society' seeking normalisation of relationships are nothing but humbug! The very essence of Pakistan's existence is to bleed India and why do we need to write melodramatic stuff about hospitality et al when it is a known thing that every visitor to any new place is made to feel welcome as a rule! Once again this Lahore Delhi Mumbai Karachi lobby which has its own self-interest in calling each other 'lost in a fair' is just being anti-national!

Tarun Vijay, tu har gaya!
by Kattar Bhashi on May 14, 2012 09:38 PM  | Hide replies

From the time news broke out in one of our leading newsmagazines about Vijay and his muesli affairs with the Bhopal based RTI meeowain Masood, we all knew when it comes to affairs below the belt, Cawfirs or Mueslis are the same! Is it not a matter of shame that the ideologue that Vijay was (is?)he should do such a great whitewash for the country which will wage a thousand holy battles against its unholy neighbour? PR and Pakistan go hand in hand and they have won our Vijay with a very clever move!

Malnutrition in India
by French Cuisine on May 13, 2012 11:07 PM

AlJazeera today aired an amazing documentary on the levels of malnutrition in India. Out of every 3 malnourished children on globe India has one. Perhaps the rising Indian nation should look inwards to see the real picture. Criticizing Pakistan has become our national pastime, and sadly Pakistanis have accepted that they are hopeless. I wish Indians cared about their own country more.

Dont delay the demise of terror!
by Grizzly on May 13, 2012 06:16 PM  | Hide replies

By voicing soft policies on terror, all you are doing is delaying the demise of terror!

History has shown time and again that when terror exceeds a certain limit, it cannot be controlled by peaceful talks or kind gestures!

We saw the terror of Kauravas crossing limits only to be finished by the war in Mahabharat and recently we saw it happen when US finally armed itself to the teeth and reached the heights of arms race with USSR that saw the Soviets becoming bankrupt and breaking from inside. We saw it when US had to invade Afghanistan after 9.11 becoz it could no longer avoid a confontation with terror!

And we will have to do the same! We cannot hide our head in the sand and hope that pooourkki terror will somehow go away with time! We have committed this mistake too many times only to find out that every time we dig our head out of the sand, we find terror to be bigger and more powerful.

Dont delay the fall of terror by soft talk! Its time to arm ourselves and get rid of it once and forever!

Do our children and grandchildren need to keep living in terror also? When will this end? Who will make it end? How?
