Money for Rich and Fare increase for Poor
by Dipak Bose on Mar 19, 2012 12:59 PM  | Hide replies

Rich people do not travel by trains; they use either car or plane.

Rich got in this budget Rs.5,300,000 Crores tax exemption.

By increasing fares RLY can earn a maximum ( if everyone will buy tickets) Rs.6000 Crores.

Thus onlt 10 percent of the tax exempted for the rich would be enough to satisfy the RLY, so that fares will not go up.

Why that is impossible, when Praful Patel alone could have got Rs.6000 Crores from Air-India, which only the rich use.

Do you know that Bus fares on any route in India from one place to another, is more than Train fare. Just check yourself.
Do you think "Aam aadmi" do not travel by bus ?
Be it Bus, or Auto or Rickshaw - all had their rates increased over the years, except Railways ?
So, when you blindly talk of all those big numbers, as told by some politicians,( & I'm sure, you do not understand much about those data) just look around & with a little bit of common sense, will figure out why such fooling around continues.

This is no justification to increase the Rly fares, when people are already suffering from high inflations, high house price, increased costs of education and medicines and hospital fees. It is essential to reduce the burden.

If Rly is included in the General budget, the problem cannot exist. Why on earth the poor tax payers got to subsidize the rich using Air-India or Ambani building another palace???

praising Bengalis are yet to learn a lesson.

When the Commies supported the UPA I ditched them stating that we have signed yesterday when the support was there.

Now the same will be said for TMC too and the face would have blackened.

What needs is not anger like bull in china shop rather have an insider in the Congress to get the feedback and plan it accordingly else on the day of Vote do not support them. Now they will try to split TMC into multiple groups and leave DIDI to blabber around West Bengal.

What a farce !
by Yogender Singh on Mar 19, 2012 10:37 AM

So everything about the Rail budget is forgotten. Congress used Trivedi to create a rift within TMC. Be sure, the drama does not end with his resignation. In all likelihood, a known goon like Mukul will not be made Rail Minister, or may be, Congis buy some more time to be sure about SP.
Brighter side of this non sense drama is : callousness of UPA is clear to all & crookedness of Mamata is there for everyone to see. Of course, there still will be lots of fools to support these politicians. But that explains why this country remains what it is !!

among videshi and desi investors to TN, Bengal, Maha, etc
by D S on Mar 19, 2012 10:29 AM

Among videshi MNCs and desi investors to TN, Bengal, etc. there are many kickback agents for bjp-congress cartel who facilitate kickback money to routed in name of investment such as to gain support of smaller parties for the cartel or to choke the finances for smaller parties by punishing them. Or, to dictate their terms to smaller parties.

so be careful of those wolf in sheep skin.

videshi trust bjp-congress cartel for quicker sell out of india. Also, the cartel is well versed with kickback process.
