I think he didnt fill coffers of Trinamool properly. He resigned but didnt rolol back the prices. Railway ministry is in hands of Biha na dBengal only for so many years. what about the rest of the Country. Trivedi really tried to give fair representation to all states.
A well scripted drama has finally come to end. So now the price hike would exist, trivedi would get post in future and mamta would continue to fool people. We all know what kind of reaction she showed when a girl was raped in kolkata and at the time of infants death in poorly maintained kolkata hospital
Mamata Banerjee is digging her own grave ! How fast she does it is anybody's guess ! Finally, Mamata has been able to fool Trivedi also into believing that Trivedi was being used as a convenient stick by the Congress to beat her and also to hike Railway fares at the cost of the Trinamool Congress !! Trivedi , now, obediently , say that he will REMAIN a loyal TMC member and that Mamata is her boss and the only BOSS. Where has his patriotism for the country gone now ??? Now, it is, Mamata first, party next, family third, and the country - let it go to the dogs - Right, Trivedi ?????

What a pity. A man of great integrity Mr Trivedi is thrown out and a useless backward thinking bengali babu is replacing him. India will never progress if it has a Govt led by a very inactive PM

It is very true that Mamta is anti development,those people who travel by sleeper class have chicken and mutton in dinner and lunch, cols drink, costly snack after every one or two hr of their journey by rail so tell me are they poor people..if they can effort to give 500-600 to their travel agent to get one ticket..My request to Cong govt is to please look for other option than TMC..NAD SAVE RAILWAY

Congrss's decision to succumb to Mamta Banerjee's pressure will take a heavy toll of lives of Rly. passengers due to accidents caused by slackened safety measures, unfilled vacancies, overworked and tired staff. Why should Rly. passengers pay with their lives the cost of her popularity. Indian Rlys. will soon become a heritage Rly. with skeletons in the coaches.
