But these IAS passed out are smart people not a body builders, what was need to do such desperate act to catch tractor? He could have noted down number etc - Sonavane IPS also dies like this
This is something regrettable.He should have been cautious and asked for backup and support to tackle the mafia.It takes organisational backup to deal with a set of people on the wrong track.
The young IPS officer full with idealism and sense of duty was killed. Besides the degeneration in our social life mostly the result of political climate, the young officer should have understood 'Discretion is better part of valour'. I have faced similar situation while dealing with agitating workers in tense situation and have escaped. The situation is different because though the workers may be adversary in that particular situation they are known the person. In this case it was a stranger situation. The officer was carried away by his enthusiasm and unfortunately paid the price. Even then I salute him and I hope the Govt. and all political parties should now think to get rid the evil behind such incidents.
