The two fishermen-Francis Justine and Xavier were noble men indeed. They were men of faith.They belonged to the noble community which has given us the greatest secularist of the universe.
Just before they died, they sent me a sms informing that they saw a ship with a fluttering saffron flag coming against their fishing boat. But alas, before I could take action, the dreaded saffron ship had committed the treacherous act.
On further investigation I have found that this ship with the saffron flag fluttering, belonged to a group of terrorists based in Nagpur. I have also seen this ship in Nagpur .
In the present case, there is absolutely no possibility of tracing the ship, unless they voluntarily turn themselves in. It's likely that four fishermen maybe dead. From whom shall the fishermen claim damages ???? Will they get any ?? Maybe, they would get a meagre amount of 2 to 3 lakhs each from the state Govt. Another ship is ( The Italian One ) is still locked up in Kochi harbour for the last 3 weeks, causing enormous losses to the Shipping company and Chartered flights in and out of the coutry ferrying the concerned Italian Minister and other officials. Politicians are playing their games to their best. Diplomacy & bureacracy are also playing their games !! The " NATAK " is going on for the last three weeks. Will the " NATAK " repeat in the present case too ?? Or will these hapless fishermen's families have to settle for meagre State Govt. Compensation ??? Everybody should have thought twice before starting their Drama !!!

There is no harbour in Trivandrum as yet. The vizhinjam harbour ( near Trivandrum ) will be ready to berth ships only in a few years time. !!! Please don't develop such nasty feelings towards everything that is "Italian " In your history classes you must have already learnt about how the Britishers looted India. The Britishers certainly were not " Italian " Let Italians also live in this world. They have as much a right to live as 'you' have got !!!
