presidential election
by Manas Sen on Jun 30, 2012 08:36 PM  | Hide replies

bidwai has wrongly interpreted the cpm decision to support mukherjee. the real reason behind it is to wrong foot mamata. and they were right. it would endear them to the bengalis at large and would force mamata to abstain in all probability. for the first time in a few years, this move of cpm has put mamata in the defensive. this is a pragmatic decision and for the first time in masny years they have broken the shackle of dogmatism. it is a good augury that prasenjit bose has left. he was immersed in dogmatism and far removed from the present day political realities which the party has to take into consideration if it has to remain in business. it is to be remembered that cpm has to function in a capitalist society and need to show pragmatism if it has to survive, dogmatism can not take it far. this realisation has dawned on the bengal and tripura cpm leadership, who forced this decision.

What else to expect form the leftist parful bdwai??? the dinosaur
by Indian First on Jun 30, 2012 05:31 PM  | Hide replies

Shame shiv sena and Nitish and janata dal stabbed BJP and NDA in the back despite supporting them in recent elections fully At least they should have abstained from elections instead of supporting pranab the congi candidate! It is time for BJP to dump pseudo-sickular parties like nitish party and to withdraw support for ntisih government in Bihar. Without BJP and RSS support, nitish would have been in opposition even now and BJP must dump such ungrateful polticians and parties too forever too. At least shiv sena must shout now that they will be neutral in the president elections and sot support a congi candidate! Do not forget that it was shiv sena who supported useless prathibha patil as president and brough bad name to post of president itself! Prathibha patil was the wrost president in history, perhaps? BJP must kick out nitish and his party and work out an alliance with jayalalitha, BJD.Akali Dal, shiv sena if they are not behaving abnormally and with other smaller parties, if necessary with jagan's party in andhra, Let this be the beginning of the solid NDA alliance without the muzzie appeasing useless allies for future and BJP must go full steam with aggresive hinduvta in actions and not just hollw words as has been the case so far! shame, rss,vhp and BJP that you were acting as congress B team for the past 64 years!

bidwais baffoonery full swing. rjendra prasad was one of the meticulous worker who oversaw the partion of bengal presidency into bihar, bengal and orissa, and many other issues of concern to regular masses. Mr bidwai paints him an ordinary superstitous guy, and so on sardar patel in footnotes, a mass leader of profound committment to bharat sovereinty. Had these two leaders been in forefront, india would not have been in tatters as we see today. He may have wanted to label rajendra prasad as a hindutva man or not as secular as bidwai wants to be.

another cooked up fact. Mrarjibhai after retirement lived in a rented apartment, and an honest man to the penny. People of gujrat how an upright person he was, though may be in opposition with some strange bedfellows. This honest man does need scrutinity from a commie ccongress cohort bidwai.what a papadharma being spread by these zealots.

Emergence of Regional political parties.
by Bhabani Hota on Jun 30, 2012 08:24 AM

It is difficult to imagine at present that all the regional parties will unite to pose a challenge to the Congress at one end and BJP on the other. Unless a single party and or a Confederation of parties such as \"Hope India Front\" is constituted by the regional parties it would result in only helping the Congress. For such a situation only the BJP is to blame is to blame itself. The BJP should have clearly projected Narendra Modi(from their point of interest) and allowed JDU to leave NDA and fight the election on their own and if so be prepared to get defeated in 2014 so that they can come to power in next two years with a clear majority. BJP on its own is very strong in Madhya Pradesh,Rajasthan(inspite of Congress in power), a force to reckon with in Karnataka, a major force in Gujarat and Chhatisgarh and ofcourse Jharkhand and Maharastra( as I am sure that Shiv Sena would be with BJP for the Lok Sabha election). Hence a triangular contest will help the Congress in securing greater victory for the Congress. Please note that the people of India have always voted for stability. They will never vote for instability.

Wake up and stop dreaming since you are asking a "Morning" questions :) The answers are 1. NO, the rule of law has to take its course. We need to hang Modi first because he is a far bigger terrorist than Kasab, Afjal Guru.
2. 300 million Muslims belong and own this country just as much as anyone else does. On the other hand, we must welcome unhappy people from Pak and Bangladesh if India can give them a more happy and prosperous life. In fact, once Muslims become majority of this country in another few decades, how would it be if they talk of kicking you out to the Arabian sea?

muslims getting somewhere near to majority & then kicking out all non-muslims (incl christians & pseudo-seculars ) out.. or atleast dominate them like the middle ages & middle-east
