I don't know much about Harsh Mander and Madhav Gadgil, but I am tempted to ask some questions about Dr MSS. You have described him as an agriculture scientist, which is technically correct. In the past, he has been wearing several other hats, all at the same time, like cytogeneticist, expert on use of nuclear techiques in agriculture, nutritionist, agricultural economist, farming expert, ecologist, environmentalist, biotechnologist, genetic engineering expert, plant breeder, ... etc. Add to them the recent title "ecotechnologist", whatever that means! Inthe light of all this, we need to coin a new word to describe a new area of knowledge, MSSology. ☺ ☻ ☺ ☻ ☺ ☻
