The gross misuse of power in Karnataka is only second to the Emergency imposed by the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, says Hiremath. Karnataka is unfortunate to have horribly corrupt leaders in all three parties. The common man in Karnataka thinks that Krishna was by himself not corrupt though he allowed corruption. The common man also thinks that HDK was corrupt right from the beginning and expected Yeddy to be honest and efficient. The common man finally thinks that Yeddy's corruption is the most massive personal corruption ever seen in Karnataka, more than that of Bangarappa or HDK put together. The current CM seems to be good, but the bad deeds of Yeddy are going to come back and haunt the BJP in the next election where they will be most likely kicked out.

Hiremath will be murdered like any other RTI activist. Corruption and looting will continue uninterrupted. Judges are purchasable as seen every now and then.
