Pak Rebels and Chinese Projects

The fear of Sindh nationalists is social engineering by the Pakistan government. Sindh is already deluged with immigrants from India known as Muhajirs. The nationalists in Sindhis are apprehensive about the mega-projects in Sindh because they will entail import of labor from Punjab and in the long run they will become a minority in their own homeland. Sindhis are now a minority in the port city of Karachi.

Baloch nationalists targeted Punjabis and Muhajirs working on Gwadar dam and copper mines in Balochistan because they fear they will be marginalized in the province.

The Pakistan Taliban (TTP) has joined the Baloch and Sindh nationalists in their cause because they are willing to accommodate the Pushtoons.
