Manmohan Singh an UNDERACHIEVER, says Time
by Sasidharan Nair on Jul 16, 2012 07:04 AM

If I were a congressman, prepared to leave aside party inklings and think of national interest, I would have said: Dr.Singh is a good samaritan working to the tunes of his party direction and not in national interest at all! Which is why common people, like me, are driven to lick the dust ever since his economic policy started stripping the people of middle class and downwards through scorching inflationary effects. The policy adopted by Dr.Singh is making the rich, richer every day at stifling effect on common man. His vision for raising the standard of life through cost inflation is like streaking on cricket field. Congress party is making money coming from business men by keeping that in mind, Dr.Singh gives importance to help them by making the people to live on rosy hopes! If this policy continued, India will witness several suicide attempts as the only thing common people could do!!! If I consider such an apalling situation, I cannot help agreeing with the Time Magazine. And as an Indian, I would prefer Dr.Singh to prove it wrong, at least in his remaining term!!

TIME be doomed!
by Neetiman Kumar on Jul 13, 2012 11:15 AM

TIME is a US magazine. What they say about India is not gospel for us!

What do they have to say about their own country? Is it in the peak of economic success? Are their Presidents able leaders? The last President, George Bush, was an acclaimed idiot! Obama has only helped to create more conflicts in the world. Can he control just one country, Pakistan, while they keep looting the Americans billions of dollars?

Simply because India is not allowing free access of its markets to Walmart and other US companies, TIME magazine has the nerve to call the PM of a country underachiever. Should not we condemn this kind of bullying as a whole?

Nitish or Modi?
by Neetiman Kumar on Jul 13, 2012 10:57 AM

There is a concerted effort to protray Modi as an 'achiever' at least in Gujarat, with the automatic hypothesis that he will do as good, if made PM.

If the same criteria is applied to Bihar, then Nitish Kumar is a far better CM than Modi, because he has brought development to a totally bankrupt state and achieved a respectable growth rate. Like Modi, he was able to give political stability to the State and was comfortably re-elected. Even now, he continues to be the most popular leader in Bihar.

Modi got a head-start because Gujarat was already one of the developed states in India, but Bihar was not. Worse, its adminstrative machinery and L&O situation were in poor shape, due to Lalu's rule. Nitish has shown sheer guts in pulling Bihar, bythe scruff of its neck, from the darkness of poverty and mismanagement.

So, who is the better CM? Who is more suited to become the Prime Minister of this country, should NDA is voted to power?

I wonder why this TIME magazine did not see the Bihar story. There could be a hidden agenda in praising Modi and ridiculing MMS.

May NDA win the next elections and Nitish Kumar become the next PM!!!

We need an international magazine to show us the truth?
by Grizzly on Jul 10, 2012 04:03 PM  | Hide replies

Are we a nation of blind followers? Dont we see ourselves that our country is going down the path of failure?

Why do we need an international magazine to show us that our PM is useless?

congress needs to dissolve the parliament and announce elections! It is openly evident that this govt has lost control and is incapable of governing our country!

And then what's the credibility of Time magazine?
by Grover Omprakash on Jul 10, 2012 04:21 AM  | Hide replies

Just a few months ago it named Sonia Gandhi amongst world's 100 most influential personalities... now do we believe that they don't know who is moving the 'robo achiever' and who actually is the 'failure' behind him?

Or maybe they're scared to take the name...?
