These discussions are useless because facts are secretly held by investigating agencies of Govt. Without knowledge of the facts it is meaningless to generalize and accuse anyone of anything. It is not a game where something is to be scored by skill or luck.

on acquittal of alleged killers of Adnan Patrawala
by Anandan nair on Jan 30, 2012 08:52 PM  | Hide replies

I think the defence lawyers have done a good job and the prosecution has failed in its efforts to prove the crime.
there is nothing to worry and no need to critizize anybody,it is the process of law.
The state will surely go in appeal to high court and the whole judgement may be reversed.
So guys cool down and wait for the next step.

Problem...
by prem k on Jan 30, 2012 08:45 PM

There seems to be a serious problem with the quality of investigators in police. For some reason, the sole criteria to recruit policemen seem to be their bullying skills and torturing accused persons into confession.

Most of the police force is hired through bribing in almost every state. In such a scenario, how can you get smart, clever officers capable of picking clues and nailing the culprit? They rely extensively on the statements of the accused persons
