To their defence it has to be agreed that the daily Maharashtra Times is outright pro Congress and NCP and never says anything good about sena or BJP. In fact they go all out to defend anything done by the ruling party while always blaming the opposition.
Such violence is unjustified but then so is partisan journalism unjustified too.
came out boldly and took credit(?) for Babri Masjid demolition even as Advani was denying BJP's hand in the incident. How come Sena is denying involvement in this incident?

Well this and other such major dailies have been slowly chipping out at opposition credibility by continuously portraying them as bad while glorifying the ruling coalition. Apparently this time they crossed the patience threshold.
