Pseudosecularism sucks!!!!

65 years of pseudosecularism is responsible for allowing anti national and anti social organisations like Jamaat e Hind and Dar Ul ulum to survive and operate. they were the ones who declared Fatwa on Vandemataram.

I think INDIA being a democracy should not have curtailed anyone's freedom of speech. After all it is a Literature Festival and I do not think this time it should be a issue when there was no issue in 2007.

The case remains the same. Either Rushdie or M.F. Hussain.....both are victims of religious fanaticism.
The religious groups have to understand that their are people who still not follow or believe religion........
There is no end for this......

The difference is that Rushdie picked on his own religion while Hussain was against another religion. Got the difference? he should have portrayed the p _r0_p_h3t in nude.

Dear Sai.I will advise you to type MF Hussain controversial paintings on google and spend 10 minutes to see them before writing on board. I want to see your comments here again after that.

Why are Indians so enamored with this creature " Rushdie." Can an Individual, who could never become one of his own kin ever be trusted? THE ANSWER IS NO. Let him get a clearance from them first. Why should we entertain him? What do we gain or lose?

Every one has a right to free speech. Why is it that govt of india selectively eliminates free speech and then claims to be a big democracy! Congress govt always discriminates people based on religion and caste.
