BJP alone does not hold the patent for patriotism & good governance. For a Modi or Raman Singh or Shivraj Chauhan, the BJP has also had people like the Bellary Reddys, Yeddy or Ramesh Pokhriyal & team engaged in corruption and misuse of power.
People are fed up with the Congres led UPA and its spineless puppet PM-Manmohan Singh! The current Congress government has been the most inept, insensitive and corrupt government ever, BUT the current BJP led opposition is also the worst & ineffective bunch ever. As if the taint of Yeddy and the Bellary Reddys was not enough, they have picked up the corrupt & discarded ministers from Mayawati's dustbin! Advani's spectacular incompetence, hawkishness and desperate prime ministerial ambitions have eroded the BJP's situation from the time of Vajpayee.

Were not people convicted for Best Bakery or Sardarpura riots? Many people have welcomed the verdicts. The SC is monitoring the Gulberg society case too.
The courts sentenced 13 people to death for setting fire to the Sbarmati Express at Godhra stsn. How many of you SUPER-SECULARISTS welcomed the judgement against the fanatics & extremists who carried out this act and created the wave of retaliation & backlash by the majority community?

All in media dear; you see and feel what media makes you to feel; and media does what that makes them money; Common people are fools who fight each other for such issues; Does any body knows that there was a gathering of more than a lakh 1mus1ims for around 3 days in blore and hyderabad for fight against 7errorism.Its all you see and decide what media feeds you.

The Indian Mus1im community is in the grip of self styled defenders of faith, selfish leaders and the clerics, who have vested interests in maintaining the status quo. The Mus1im community has been let down buy its own ineffective & corrupt leaders and hence become a fertile ground for breeding extremist & radical ideologies! And the political parties pander to these elements as they DELIVER the crucial votes.
How many politicians or even the media are talking about the real issues affecting the people-unbridled population growth, poverty, unemployment, paucity of resources, the agrarian crisis, corruption, etc?. There are thousands of Mandirs & Masjids in dilapidated conditions and maintained poorly all over India but we keep hearing about Babri-Ramjanmabhoomi.

@Jai on this point I totally agree with you; There are no true leader from among the 1muslims who raise voice for real problem of the community; All the leaders are stooges of some political parties who just have interest of getting their votes; However the mindset of majority of the 1muslims are not that bad as projected by some 1hindu extremist. There are some elements in the community who are anti-nationalist but those are projected more than those who are good.

The elite amongst the Mus1im community have cornered all the political power, government patronage and financial gains while the vast majority have remain impoverished and in the grip of puritanical religion & clerics who keep them backward in matters of education, infant & female mortality, population growth, access to healthcare, employment, etc, etc.
The madrassas & clerics exploit this with the promise of education & food security for poor Mus1im children. There are only very few madrassas where apart from theological education, a grounding in basis sciences, math, etc is provided, but a large majority of madrassas, are factories of radical indoctrination!
And many sections of the Mus1ims take the fatwas emanating from these seminaries and aalims quite seriously. Many of these puritanical and rigid ideologies threaten the very way that liberal and democratic societies run! Insular mullahs issue half-baked edicts on everything under the sun, and ordinary people, unsure of themselves, pay lip service to these teachings.
Muslims risk getting isolated & further marginalised at a time when globalisation is breaking down barriers at a frenzied pace. It is this silent flock of the faithful who are manipulated & used by the clerics & & ideologues to not only lend legitimacy to their fanciful ideals but also suffer the consequences!

Its protection for some other people. Everybody knows what will happen if somebody tries to hurt him.
Can anybody can have guts or moral like Narendra Modi, he sat for sadbhavna fast on the land which was the epicenter of Gujarat riot. If congress has guts let Rahul Gandhi lands any of the airport in U.S.A without any portfolio. We have seen him running away only by seeing black flag of Ramdev supporters.
