HEAD HONCHOS
by Devashish de on Feb 23, 2012 11:56 PM

Pakis have started the game already. Some time back Kayani said he is thinning from eastern borders. Some months later Gilani says Pakis cannot afford a war in 21st century.
Its time we woke up to their old ways of surprising us.
Bus rides preceded Kargil.
Now our head honchos are ready..for China as primary participant.
Poor Fools.Give them Royal stag and ask-DID you make it large ?
Then have a Large.

F-16 & India
by dhananjay kritu on Feb 23, 2012 11:44 PM  | Hide replies

If all the time we felt that F-16 was formidable, why didn't we buy it now when it was offered? Or is that statement a hype? Because IAF has clearly stated that sustained rate of turn was poorest for the F-16 & F-18. Aren't we all mixing things up?

The reasons for not buying American, as I understand, are (1) Pakistan has same or similar aircrafts, they know the F-16 well. Also, US may sell the same F-18 or latest F-16 to them again.
(2). US has terrible regulations against the end user. They will sell the weapon but will not allow the buyer to use it as they want to. This sounds crazy but true.
(3). Both US and UK has a long tradition of denyiing India much needed spare parts in time of war, when India needed them most.
So, buying British or US made products, though maybe superior, should not be India's priority.

France will not be attacked from outside, but Islamist invaders from N Africa has already taken France. Same with India. Pakistan may never have to fight India from the outside.

English is not our mother language so why expecting such; the common people in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France speak worst English than that...
Plz. come out of slavery and just pick English as language and not a matter of status.

by picking english as main language, how someone will be out of slavery, i don't understand...this will rather enhance slavery, if define slavery as the dependence....
