Every year there are such disasters. I don't think we have learnt any lesson from any such tragedy. You can find a common thread of events in any such event. These are man made disasters and only people can be blamed in these cases. I'm sure this is not the last such disaster we are seeing.

We lack social responsibility and discipline.

Some ppl here blame politicians ...common grow up why you see all flaws of our culture as result of politicians ..accept our culture doesnt have quality mindset ...we see only money in all things we do...we always love to be most selfish humans in earth ...when will it change ....

Disasters can be of 2 types. Natural and Manmade. Responses of the community / nation to disasters is indicators of maturity of the community / nation. In India most of the distaers are Manmade. Their recurrances and reactions clearly indicates LOW level of understanding of Indian masses. It is very sad theat nobody is bothered to enlighten the masses. There is no point in expecting any guidance from political front, as it is in majority full of morons. But the religious bodies should wake up and formulate some standard procedures to avoid such incidents.
